The client, a major player in healthcare solutions, needed a user-friendly platform where its users could independently book blood donations in their own city throughout Italy, keep track of their donation history and receive a re-mind when their appointment was approaching, bringing together the various tools in a single solution.

To design the required platform, we delved into the analysis of data streams: it was essential to understand the sources of the data, how to interface with them, the meaning and value of each flow and what information was actually useful for the end user. This allowed us to create a clear and informative platform, avoiding superfluous data and at the same time ensuring completeness and usefulness.
We also integrated various user access and verification systems, enabling different functions based on the profile of the connected user.
Event storming + Incremental development + Efficient organization
We started the project by creating a flexible solution, accessible both via browser (desktop and mobile) and as an installable mobile app, thus opting for a Progressive Web Application.
UX/UI and high usability were priority objectives, given the large and varied audience. We integrated all data sources into a single platform, creating a centralized access point to provide the end user with all the necessary information in a clear and useful way.
