There was this need...

Our client, specializing in machine vision systems for quality control on production lines, required a user-friendly yet powerful software that would be compatible with their new product. The goal was to simplify production traceability, manage and recover discarded items, while optimizing the learning curve to maximize user productivity.

We faced it this way

We brought together the development team, stakeholders, and domain experts to kick off with an Event Storming session, aimed at clarifying the entire process and identifying critical touchpoints. This helped us build a cohesive product vision, essential for ensuring its value aligns with the key business objectives.

An agile development process was implemented to effectively steer the work and accommodate any changes coming from end users.

Initially, we shared wireframes and user flows to help stakeholders better visualize the final product. This step proved particularly valuable in uncovering hidden or implicit assumptions, allowing them to be discussed before development even began.

Development then proceeded step by step, in an iterative and incremental approach: define a goal -> design -> development -> testing and validation, iteratively.
