Our client, a well-known marble supplier and design company operating in the field of architectural interiors ranging from homes to cruise ships, needed to bring together all decision-makers (architects, designers, customers, production) within a single platform to share information, evaluate proposals and make decisions.

We faced it this way
We imagined that knowledge sharing, decision tracking and approval permissions should be the building blocks to create a platform and design an organized and informative workflow.
We started by gathering information on existing workflows, pitfalls, old and new needs and issues to better understand what was really important for different stakeholders, where decisions should be made, who should make them and what the impacts could be.

We created a web app to bring together all stakeholders, with different functions and permissions, to allow only project managers to make the most important decisions, while keeping everyone informed and updated.
We integrated a 3D object loader and a viewer to allow users to make decisions on realistic objects mapped with real marble cuts, thus allowing greater control over the outcome of design decisions.
